The quarterly meeting in June will be the 4th, 5th and 6th (FRI-SUN), at Clyde Lake- for a camp out.

May, 2009- Frontier Days in Breckenridge

Time & Location: 1:00 p.m. at Kountry Korner, Hwy 180 West.

Frontier Days will be held on May 1-2, 2009 at the City Park, Breckenridge, TX on West Walker (Hwy 180 West). Texas Veterans Chapter 3 will have a booth and we need members to show up to take turns running it. If you have something you can donate for a drawing, or to sell, please bring the items with you. The booth will be set up for the 2nd (Saturday).

April, 2009- Meeting
Date/Time: Apri. 5, 2009 (Sunday) at 2:00 p.m.
Location: Country Corner, Hwy 180 W (last convenience store on way to Albany).
Had our meeting and discussed raffle, Frontier Days (first Fri.-Sun in May), putting out flags at the Breckenridge Cemetery (Memorial Day Weekend) and a benefit for one of our members (June 20). More info on benefit will be added soon.

January 2009 Meeting
Date: Sunday, January 4, 2009
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: VFW Post 7767 (216 E. Williams, Breckenridge, TX.)
Meeting was called to order. Minutes from last meeting were read, had treasury report.
Old Business: We discussed our Flag Fund, the TET Reunion in February, Toys for Tots (had our best year ever!), and for Christmas, gifts were bought and delivered to 12 people at local nursing homes.
New Business: We discussed and agreed on business cards, mentioned World of Wheels in Abilene (Jan. 23, 2008) and discussed Frontier Days in Breckenridge, which will be the 1st weekend in May. We already have a booth.
For Frontier Days, brought to the table was a flag program and Rifle Raffle, which both were agreed upon.
Taz was voted in as Honorary Member.
Officers for 2009 were nominated and voted on. New officers are as follows:

Sgt. at Arms- Vernon
Sunny remains Chaplain.
